This mead has been resting for several months in toasted acacia barrels and received a mulberry chip finnish. The result is a smoky aroma with a subtle fruity touch.
You will see that all our meads are cloudy. We deliberately don't filter because it allows you to fully enjoy the flavor.

Story behind the name
For this mead we have chosen the name Martinus. This saint is doubly special to us.
First, because Martin is the name of one of the founders' fathers-in-law.
Second, because St. Martin is the patron saint of the city where Alchymiae originated. The patron saint is commemorated each year with a parade and fireworks.
